The versatile adapter system opens up multiple mounting configurations for your recording setup. Mount the bottom section directly onto your camera's accessory shoe, while the top features a shoe mount adapter with tripod screw compatibility. This allows you to securely attach your DR-70D or DR-701D to any digital SLR camera's accessory shoe, and the top-mounted shoe on the recorder case can accommodate shotgun microphones or wireless transmitters.

Audio monitoring becomes seamless with the dual cable system included in this package. The DR-70D's CAMERA OUT/LINE OUT jack enables direct audio recording to your camera, while the two 3.5mm stereo mini jack cables allow simultaneous monitoring of both recorder and camera audio through a single set of headphones. Connect one cable from the DR-70D/701D CAMERA OUT to your camera's AUX IN jack, and the second from your camera's headphone output to the DR-70D/701D CAMERA IN jack for complete audio control.
