Tanglewood TWJPE Java Parlour Acoustic Electric Guitar

Combining vintage charm with cutting-edge electronics, the Java TWJPE guitar stands as a testament to thoughtful craftsmanship and modern innovation. This parlour-bodied instrument features a classic compact design that harks back to traditional acoustic guitars, offering musicians a comfortable playing experience alongside warm, intimate tones. The guitar’s solid cedar top provides exceptional responsiveness and clarity, making it particularly well-suited for fingerstyle techniques, intricate picking patterns, and solo performances where articulation and dynamic range are paramount.

The instrument’s most striking feature lies in its extraordinary three-piece back construction, crafted from a stunning combination of Amara and Spalt Mango tonewoods. These carefully selected materials not only create visually captivating grain patterns but contribute significantly to the guitar’s distinctive tonal character. The Amara wood brings warmth and balance to the sound, while the Spalt Mango adds layers of complexity and depth, resulting in a rich, articulate voice that suits various musical styles.

Modern performance demands are met through the integration of the Fishman Presys EQ system, an advanced electronic package that allows precise control over amplified sound. This comprehensive system includes onboard EQ controls, phase adjustment, and a built-in tuner, ensuring that the guitar’s amplified tone maintains the same clarity, precision, and dynamic response as its natural acoustic voice. The Java TWJPE represents an ideal choice for musicians seeking an instrument that bridges traditional acoustic warmth with contemporary versatility.
