Tanglewood recognised a gap in the folk instrument market for quality, affordable instruments that give aspiring musicians their first taste of authentic sound without breaking the bank. The company developed niche products specifically for budding George Formby enthusiasts looking to serenade their window cleaner, or the next Eric Clapton wanting to explore resonator guitar territory.
The Tanglewood TWD1 Resonator brings together vintage charm and modern craftsmanship to produce rich, vibrant tones that suit blues, folk, and slide guitar players perfectly. Its distinctive metal resonator cone amplifies sound with exceptional clarity and projection, making it equally suited to live performances and recording sessions.
Built with a mahogany body and neck, the TWD1 Resonator produces warm, resonant sound alongside stunning visual appeal. The classic design features durable construction for reliable performance, while the smooth fretboard enhances playability and gives your music the unique voice that only a quality resonator can provide.
