Tama Starclassic 5-Pce Walnut Birch Shell Pack (Piano Black) 10/12/14/16/22

Tama's Starclassic Walnut/Birch 5-piece shell pack represents the latest evolution in the company's acclaimed drum-kit lineage. After extensive research and product testing, Tama engineered a hybrid shell formula that blends walnut and birch in precise proportions, yielding warm low–to–mid frequencies without sacrificing birch's characteristic clear attack and projection. The Piano Black finish delivers visual sophistication across studio and stage environments alike.

Shell construction pairs 6mm, 4–ply birch with 2 inner plies of black walnut on toms and floor toms, while the 22-inch bass drum features 8mm, 5–ply birch with 2 inner walnut plies and interior lacquer treatment for sustained low-end response. Configuration includes 10-inch and 12-inch mounted toms, 14-inch and 16-inch floor toms, and dual MC69 tom-mounting brackets. Star-Cast lugs and die-cast hoops with Quick-Lock tom brackets ensure rapid setup adjustments without tools. Evans® heads ship pre-installed; hardware purchased separately.
