The Tama Star Walnut TW42RZSA 4pc Shell Pack in Garnet Japanese Sen Burst represents the pinnacle of TAMA’s drum manufacturing expertise. This flagship line builds upon the acclaimed Starclassic series foundation, with every component meticulously reexamined to maximise shell resonance and tonal quality.

Walnut timber has earned its reputation amongst furniture craftsmen for exceptional beauty and lasting durability, qualities that translate perfectly to drum shell construction. The drum community has consistently praised walnut’s naturally EQ’ed tonal characteristics, making it equally suited to live performance and studio recording applications. STAR Walnut shells produce commanding low–end frequencies whilst maintaining the clarity needed to cut through dense musical arrangements.

The TW42RZSA configuration includes a 16"x22" bass drum (TWB2216), 7"x10" tom tom (TWT1007), 8"x12" tom tom (TWT1208), and 16"x16" floor tom (TWF1616). Please note that shell kits are supplied without drum mounting hardware, which must be purchased separately.
