Tama Star Maple 22" 5-Piece Shell Pack (Charcoal Brown Paraiso) Inc Matching Snare

The Tama Star Maple 22″ 5-Piece Shell Pack represents the pinnacle of the Japanese maker's drum engineering, synthesising decades of Starclassic research into a re-examination of shell resonance. Each shell employs a 5mm 5-ply maple configuration with Solid Core Ply construction, pairing maple's warm, open response with the harmonic richness of solid-ply architecture. The Charcoal Brown Paraiso finish wraps a five-drum configuration: 22″×16″ bass drum, 10″×7″ and 12″×8″ rack toms, 16″×16″ floor tom, and matching snare.

Sound Focus Rings measuring 5mm thickness reinforce each bearing edge to sharpen tonal definition and sustain across wide dynamics. The Super Resonant Mounting System decouples shells from hardware vibration, whilst Quick-Lock tom brackets accelerate setup and strike changes. Bass drum spurs feature soft, high-mass rubber feet to protect stage surfaces; floor tom legs utilise hollow, soft rubber construction to minimise stand resonance and vibration transfer. Four-box shipping distributes weight intelligently—the largest carton measures 780mm×680mm×670mm at 16.1kg.
