Tama Octoban Low 4 Piece Set 7850N4L

The Tama Octoban Low 4 Piece Set 7850N4Lt has been the secret weapon behind legendary drummers like Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Stewart Copeland, Bill Bruford, Mike Portnoy and Tim Alexander for decades. As one of TAMA’s first original instruments, Octobans revolutionise pitch variation by using shell length rather than diameter changes, creating a unique melodic percussion instrument that has shaped progressive drumming.

This professional–grade set features four deep Octobans with 6" diameter shells in depths of 17.5", 18.5", 21" and 23.5". The innovative design allows each drum to produce different pitches based on tube length, and the shells can be tuned melodically to create harmonic sequences. The complete package includes the HOW49WN stand, making it ready for immediate studio or stage use.

Available in both low and high pitch configurations, these Jet Black Octobans offer progressive players the distinctive tonal palette that has defined cutting–edge percussion for generations. The consistent 6" diameter across all four drums maintains uniform attack characteristics while the varying shell lengths provide the melodic range that makes Octobans indispensable for contemporary drummers seeking to expand their sonic vocabulary.
