Tama MS436BK Iron Works Tour Series Telecsoping Boom Microphone Stand (Black)

Built like a fortress for the stage, the Tama MS436BK Iron Works Mic Stand redefines reliability with its die-cast locking thumb nut that provides superior leverage and grip strength. The larger, sure-grip design makes setup and breakdown faster and easier, while high-quality zinc threads and walls are engineered to withstand years of demanding use.

The solid-core telescoping iron boom arm comes equipped with a removable counterweight system that safely supports heavy microphones and accessories. Inside the boom arm, a POM rod stopper replaces traditional nylon components, offering enhanced durability and stability whilst minimising wobble. The detachable counterweight allows for both left-handed and right-handed configurations, ensuring the T-handle faces your preferred direction.

At the heart of this stand lies TAMA's unique multi-steel-plate compression tilter, which secures the critical pivot point with remarkable strength. The sturdy zinc die-cast adjustment collar eliminates the performance failures associated with flimsy plastic alternatives, addressing a common industry problem where boom arms would sink or fall due to loosened plastic rings.

TAMA has solved this frustrating issue with a specially designed ring featuring an anchor at the bottom that sits securely in the mic pipe's slot. Since the ring doesn't rotate, the adjustment collar maintains its grip, preventing the boom arm and microphone from sinking downward during performance adjustments.
