This powerhouse features a robust 1.2mm–thick shell construction that produces an exceptionally solid and powerful sound signature. The newly–developed 3.0mm–thick steel Mighty Hoop technology ensures crystal–clear attack across low to mid tuning ranges, making it a versatile choice for demanding drummers.

Part of TAMA’s acclaimed SLP Series, this snare drum represents exceptional value whilst maintaining professional–grade performance standards. The SLP Series was specifically designed to provide access to distinctive snare sounds without compromising on quality, with each component carefully selected to create the instrument’s characteristic tonal profile.

The 30–strand steel snare wire configuration strikes the perfect balance between moderate volume output and bright, articulate response. Combined with the Ultimate Steel Mighty Hoop’s 3.0mm thickness, this snare produces an open, warm sound with enhanced power, volume and resonance. The hoop maintains the rounded attack characteristics of traditional triple flange designs whilst adding substantial sonic depth through its extreme thickness construction.
