Tama Iron Cobra HP600DTW Duo Glide Twin Bass Drum Pedal (Dark Shadow Edition)

The Tama Iron Cobra HP600DTW is a twin bass drum pedal engineered for drummers who demand precision and responsiveness without compromise. Built on Tama's Iron Cobra platform, this dual-pedal setup combines durable double chain drive mechanics with switchable cam technology, enabling players to dial in either explosive power or smooth, controlled feel depending on playing context and session demands.

At the heart of the HP600DTW lies the Duo Glide cam system, which toggles between Power Glide and Rolling Glide profiles to match playing style. Supporting this are several mechanical refinements: a Spring Tight tension rod prevents spring twisting and power loss, a newly designed brass–sleeved hinge protects the pin from wear, and a Speedo–Ring with integrated ball bearing replaces traditional nylon rocker cams to eliminate friction. The pedals feature Tama's Para–Clamp hoop attachment, which rotates with drum hoop angle to maintain floor contact and stability throughout play.

The double chain drive system—shared with the flagship Iron Cobra 900 series—delivers smooth, accurate motion across all playing dynamics. This architecture, combined with the Dark Shadow finish on the HP600DTW variant, offers both mechanical reliability and visual coherence with modern drum kits. Suitable for studio sessions, live touring, and high–speed technical playing, the pedal scales from intermediate to professional application without sacrificing feel or build quality.
