Tama HT530B Wide Rider Trio Drum Throne

The Wide Rider throne redefines comfort for drummers who demand unrestricted movement during performance. Featuring distinctive front cutaways that allow unimpeded thigh movement, this throne caters specifically to players who prefer this ergonomic style. Available in both durable PVC (HT530B) and newly designed cloth top (HT530BC) configurations, the Wide Rider employs a saddle-type design with moulded urethane foam cushioning that maintains its shape for years. A robust 12mm thick plywood base beneath the seat cushion provides additional strength and security.

TAMA's engineering excellence shines through the throne's innovative connection systems. The two-piece locking hinge collar system creates a superior throne base to seat connection, while the oversized wing nut ensures easy and secure tightening. This design effectively eliminates the "wobble" that typically affects seat to throne base connections. The 1st Chair throne technology combines the precise height adjustment of threaded rod systems with the quick adjustment capabilities of T-bolted mechanisms.

Stability receives paramount attention through the super stabiliser design, which lowers the centre throne pipe distance to the floor for improved centre of gravity. The tripod leg stabiliser bar has been lengthened, and double-braced tripod legs maintain their strength right to the rubber feet insertion point. The Glide-Tite Grip Joint utilises metal-to-metal contact points for exceptionally solid base attachment, even accommodating the heaviest playing styles.

Advanced features include TAMA's "Rocklok" system with a specially designed Nylon Bushing at the threaded rod's base, preventing side-to-side motion within the base for exceptional durability and stability. Extra-large rubber feet measure 1.5 times larger than previous TAMA designs to optimise stability, while the innovative Foot Life plastic leg attachment eliminates metal-to-metal contact wear, significantly extending foot life and reducing replacement frequency.
