At the heart of this stand’s superior functionality lies the Glide–Tite Grip Joints, which create secure metal–to–metal contact points for enhanced attachment strength. The patented toothless Quick–Set Tilter represents a significant advancement over traditional gear systems, utilising six smooth metal disc plates that rely on friction rather than teeth. This design allows infinite angle adjustment whilst providing greater durability than conventional tilters.
Tama has enhanced the stand’s longevity and performance through thoughtful engineering details, including nylon washers inserted into leg joints for smoother operation and improved durability. The Escape claws feature rubber cushioning that allows the snare drum to float naturally on the basket arms, significantly improving resonance whilst reducing impact on the drummer’s arms and wrists for extended comfort during longer performances.
