TAMA's Speed Cobra pedal has been reengineered to achieve unprecedented velocity with minimal effort, building upon its legendary foundation of extreme speed and serious power. This precision-crafted pedal incorporates advanced aerospace-grade Oiles® bearings that eliminate friction and side-to-side motion while providing superior durability compared to standard ball bearings.

The innovative Swivel Spring Tight assembly represents a breakthrough in pedal design, solving the energy waste problem that plagues conventional spring systems. Rather than pulling the spring at various angles throughout the pedal cycle, this contoured assembly allows the base to swivel freely, maintaining a straight spring pull for the smoothest and lightest action available on any bass drum pedal.

Enhanced stability comes from the redesigned two-piece Bearing Hinge construction on the footplate, which holds bearings more evenly to minimise stress and maximise smoothness. For double pedal setups, a special stabiliser mounted to the outside frame prevents left-side pedals from walking and augments the stability of floor anchor bolts.

The Para-Clamp II features a newly designed three-dimensional rubber grip capable of securing the widest variety of bass drum hoops while eliminating scratching.
