Copeland collaborated directly with Tama's design team to specify a snare that responds to both delicate ghost notes and driving backbeats without losing clarity.

The brass shell construction provides bright, cutting frequencies with natural sustain that cuts through dense mixes or loud band settings. At 2.084 kg, the drum balances responsiveness with enough mass to generate genuine tone. The 5" depth sits in the sweet spot between traditional jazz proportions and modern rock punch, making it equally at home on a studio session or touring rig.
