The TSF48C Santa Fe NEX from Takamine's Legacy Series is a handmade NEX cutaway guitar showcasing southwest Native American design alongside high–performance tonewoods. Built in Takamine's pro series facility with over five decades of precision lutherie, the instrument pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid rosewood back and sides for commanding projection and broad dynamic range. The dovetail neck joint connects a mahogany neck to the fully bound body, ensuring exceptional sustain and structural integrity throughout the 644mm scale length.
Amplification comes via Takamine's proprietary CTP-3 Cooltube system, which combines tube preamp circuitry with the Palathetic under–saddle pickup for detailed plugged–in response. Visual appointments include a black crow rosette, eagle fingerboard inlays across the striped ebony fretboard, and gold tuners with amber pearl buttons set against the gloss natural finish. The 42.5mm nut width provides comfortable spacing, while the striped ebony fretboard and fully bound construction complete the premium aesthetic and playing experience. Ships with a deluxe SH500A hardshell case.
