Strandberg Boden Prog NX 6 Electric Guitar (Charcoal Black) inc Gig Bag

Built for the modern progressive and metal guitarist who demands cutting–edge performance, the Boden Prog NX represents a sophisticated evolution of the acclaimed Original model design. This aggressive instrument features the revolutionary EGS Pro Rev7 Tremolo System paired with a smooth–playing Richlite fretboard that provides enhanced articulation and a more cutting tone than its predecessor. The versatile Suhr™ pickup and switching system offers an extensive range of sounds suitable for virtually any playing style, making it ideal for musicians using high–gain amplification systems.

The Prog NX combines premium materials with innovative construction, featuring a lightweight chambered Swamp Ash body topped with solid Maple and premium grade Flame or Quilted Maple veneer. The carbon–reinforced Maple neck and Richlite fretboard contribute to the guitar's acoustically resonant character, producing a full yet cutting sound that maintains excellent tuning stability through the advanced tremolo system. Six–string models come equipped with Suhr™ passive pickups, while seven–string variants feature Fishman™ active pickups for enhanced output and clarity.

Acoustically, the Boden Prog NX offers a lively and balanced character with superb articulation for both rhythm and lead applications. The tremolo system and spring cavity create a more "open" sound compared to the Original NX, while the Richlite fretboard adds a cutting edge that punches through any mix with authority. The patented EndurNeck™ design reduces forearm and wrist fatigue, allowing extended playing sessions with improved technique, while the Rev7 hardware facilitates quick string changes and setup adjustments to maintain optimum playing condition.
