The Marc One redefines what a monitor controller can achieve, combining premium monitoring capabilities with high-quality recording functionality through its advanced 32-bit AD/DA converter architecture. This innovative device allows you to monitor your productions through two switchable speaker pairs with optional subwoofer control, while the intuitive Monitor knob provides lightning-fast volume adjustments between analog stereo inputs and USB signals. The middle position offers equal levels across all inputs, with left rotation favouring analog sources and right rotation prioritising USB input, making level balancing remarkably straightforward.

At the heart of the Marc One lies the superior AK4490 converter chip, featuring AKM’s Velvet Sound® technology for exceptional low-distortion performance. This premium 32-bit DAC supports sampling frequencies up to 768kHz PCM and DSD playback up to DSD256 resolution, establishing compatibility with the highest resolution audio formats available. The USB connection maintains Class Compliant status, ensuring seamless operation with Mac computers and iOS devices without driver installation, while the Line Out provides unity gain mixing independent of volume control for flexible signal routing.

The monitoring capabilities include three distinct modes: standard stereo, mono compatibility checking, and the innovative L/R > R/L channel swap function that proves invaluable for video dubbing work. The headphone amplifier utilises a push-pull Class AB design with thermally coupled bipolar transistors, providing substantial power reserves and consistent sound reproduction. The revolutionary Phonitor Matrix crossfeed system allows you to create headphone mixes that translate accurately to speakers, with preset centre level at -1 dB and speaker angle at 30° representing the most commonly used professional values.

Professional-grade power supply design generates +/-17 Volts for analog audio sections, enabling output levels up to +22.5 dB while maintaining clean regulation even at maximum operating voltages.
