The Spira S400MGR is a modern double-cutaway electric built for high-gain work and technical playing. Constructed from roasted poplar with a Canadian roasted maple neck in a Modern D profile, the instrument prioritises stability and tonal consistency. The 24 jumbo frets sit atop a 14” radius Ebony Tech fretboard, delivering the tactile precision expected in contemporary shred and studio contexts.
The VillainTM humbucker set drives the S400's voice–a paired HH configuration rated at 12k output per coil with ceramic magnets that handle saturation without losing definition. Hardware includes locking tuners and a fixed bridge anchoring the 25.5” scale length, whilst the 43mm bone nut and double-action truss rod govern intonation and neck relief. Control topology remains straightforward: single volume and tone pots paired to the pickup selector, letting players dial in response without circuit complexity.
The satin finish is available in Dark Green, Blue, White, Black, and Wine Red, with the colour palette designed to resist fingerprint show and withstand regular touring wear. Both stage and studio applications benefit from the S400's tuning stability and compact, ergonomic footprint–attributes that matter when session time is billable and stage changes demand reliable performance under pressure.
