Source Audio Hot Hand 3 Universal Wireless Effects Controller

Motion-controlled effects have reached a new level of sophistication with the Hot Hand 3 Universal Wireless Effects Controller, which builds upon the innovative foundation of its predecessor while dramatically expanding compatibility beyond Source Audio’s own pedal range. This advanced 3-axis accelerometer system converts physical movement into precise expression signals, allowing musicians to control filter sweeps, drive levels, modulation parameters, and wet/dry mixes through natural hand, foot, or instrument movements.

The Hot Hand 3 maintains full compatibility with Source Audio’s complete pedal lineup, including One Series, Soundblox®, Soundblox 2, Soundblox Pro, and Hot Hand pedals through its dedicated 1/8” sensor output. Additionally, the receiver base station includes a standard 1/4” expression output that works with most third-party pedals featuring expression inputs, such as the Boss PS-5 Pitch Shifter, Eventide Space Reverb, and Line 6 DL4, among many others.

The complete system includes a wireless sensor ring, ring charger/DC power supply, receiver base station, and sensor cable. The lightweight ring operates wirelessly up to 100 feet and fits comfortably on hands, feet, or instrument headstocks. Powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, the ring provides approximately 6 hours of continuous operation between charges, making it suitable for extended performances and studio sessions.
