Soundcraft Si Expression 2 24-Input Powerful Cost Effective Digital Console

The Soundcraft® Si Expression series represents over a decade of digital audio mixing innovation, combining cutting-edge DSP technology with cost-effective design to create the most powerful console range in Soundcraft’s history. From the ultra-portable 19" rack mount Expression 1 through to the flagship Si Expression 3 with its 30+2 faders and 32 mic/line inputs, each model shares identical feature sets – your choice simply comes down to the number of faders and local mic amps required for your application.

The Si Expression 2 provides 24 recallable mic pre amps, 4 line inputs, 4 internal stereo FX returns, AES connectivity, and a 64x64 expansion slot that accommodates all 66 input processing channels. Every input channel includes dedicated processing for high pass filtering, input delay, gating, compression and four-band EQ, all managed through comprehensive automation with four mute groups and FaderGlow™ illumination for clear operation in any lighting condition.

Bus configuration offers remarkable flexibility with 14 aux/group mixes that can run as 14 mono mixes, 8 mono plus 6 stereo mixes, or various combinations to suit your needs. The 4 matrix mixes operate in mono or stereo as required, while four additional mix busses feed the internal Lexicon FX processors alongside the standard left, right and centre busses. Each bus mix includes compression, 4-band EQ, BSS graphic EQ and delay processing, with comprehensive output connectivity featuring 16 balanced line outputs, headphone monitoring, AES output and the 64x64 option slot across all models.

Four integrated stereo Lexicon FX processors based on the MX400 platform provide extensive sound libraries with user-adjustable parameters and dedicated tap-tempo controls. Since these effects run on dedicated hardware, even the most demanding programmes won’t impact other processing functions, ensuring all dynamics, EQs, filters, delays and graphic EQs remain fully available. The legendary audio quality stems from the latest EMMA™ DSP processor – the same platform that established the reputation of previous Soundcraft Si series consoles.
