The DrumPack includes a DM-1B for kick drum, a DM-1S for snare and three DM-1T mics for tom tom, all packaged with four mic clips in a rugged, waterproof ABS flightcase. Sontronics' DM-series microphones were developed over three years by founder Trevor Coley working alongside top UK producers and drummers, with each microphone specifically tailored to capture the perfect sound from different drum components.

The DM-1B large-diaphragm, end-fire cardioid condenser microphone excels at capturing the full dynamic range of kick drums with its high sensitivity, extremely low self-noise, -15dB attenuation pad and ability to handle up to 155dB SPL. Beyond kick drums, the DM-1B also performs exceptionally well on bass guitar cabinets, low brass and woodwind instruments, tenor and baritone sax, and male vocals.

The DM-1S snare and DM-1T tom tom microphones are small-diaphragm cardioid condensers, each featuring a -10dB pad and SPL handling up to 135dB.
