Built with a 9–ply, 6mm cross–laminated tension–free beechwood shell, this snare drum combines traditional craftsmanship with modern reliability. The drum features authentic 1950s design elements including redesigned 2.3mm triple–flanged steel Superprofil hoops and updated teardrop lugs that maintain the classic aesthetic while incorporating Sonor's patented TuneSafe system to prevent tension rods from loosening during play.

Professional appointments include 8 offset teardrop lugs, a Sonor Super50 snare strainer with adjustable butt plate, and 24–strand stainless steel snare wires for crisp, responsive snare tone.
