After a decade of anticipation, Benny Greb’s signature snare drum returns with serious upgrades that push the boundaries of what a single drum can achieve. This isn’t merely a refresh of the original collaboration between Sonor and their versatile family member — it’s a complete reimagining that brings enhanced versatility and premium materials to the forefront.

The 13x5.75" shell combines a centred beech construction with Scandinavian birch outer veneer in a semi–gloss finish, now enhanced with striking Bubinga wood inlay. Nine plies at 5mm thickness provide the foundation, while chrome–plated 1950s Vintage Teardrop Lugs add both visual appeal and functional reliability. The superior Dual Glide snare strainer ensures precise control over snare response.

What sets this drum apart is the innovative MonoRail dampening system — each drum features two units loaded with Benny’s preferred dampening materials dubbed “The Felt” and “The Sheep”. These interchangeable dampeners provide remarkable flexibility, allowing you to dial in everything from tight, funky tones to big, fat sounds with maximum control over your drum’s character.
