This White Pearl finished kit features Sonor's signature 7–ply maple shell construction, combining four plies of premium Canadian maple with three plies of Chinese maple for exceptional tonal characteristics. The drums utilise matching fittings and finishes throughout, providing complete flexibility to mix and match components within the entire AQ2 Series range.

At the heart of this kit's superior performance lies the newly engineered SmartMount tom mounting system, which embodies true German design principles through its minimalistic yet highly functional approach. This innovative mounting solution maximises sound sustain whilst reducing the amount of hardware contact with the drum shell, allowing the natural maple tones to resonate freely without interference.

The safari configuration includes a 16" x 15" bass drum, 13" x 6" snare drum, 10" x 7" tom tom, and 13" x 12" floor tom, complete with cymbal holder and tom holder.
