The Sonor AQ2 5-piece drumkit channels the German manufacturer's decades of shell-craft expertise into a stage–ready configuration. Built from Canadian and Chinese maple, this kit delivers the warmth and projection that professional players expect, whether in studio settings or live venues. The 22” bass drum paired with 10”, 12”, and 16” toms creates a versatile tuning palette, anchored by a 14” snare designed for crack and sensitivity across dynamic ranges.

Construction centres on 7–ply maple shells: the bass drum measures 22” × 17.5” with 7.2 mm thickness, while toms and snare employ 5.8 mm shells for articulate stick definition. Forty–five–degree bearing edges cut precision tuning geometry into every drum. The Smart Mount suspension system isolates toms from the bass drum, minimising resonance bleed and preserving tone separation. Chrome hardware pairs with 1.6 mm steel hoops on toms, 2.3 mm power hoops on the snare, and matching wood hoops on the kick. The TuneSafe system and DTH 4000 double tom holder complete a hardware package engineered for stability during extended sessions.
