Sonor AQ1 Studio 5 Piece Drum Kit w/2000 Series Hardware - Piano Black

The Sonor AQ1 Studio 5 Piece Drum Kit brings German engineering excellence to ambitious drummers seeking professional sound without the premium price tag. This birch shell kit features the complete 2000 Series hardware pack in a stunning Piano Black finish, designed from the ground up by SONOR’s team in Bad Berleburg, Germany. The AQ1 Series provides affordable entry into the world of the SONOR Sound, with birch shells offering the most versatile tonal characteristics – perfectly balanced across low, mid and high frequencies.

At the heart of this kit’s superior performance is the innovative SmartMount suspension system, which allows rack toms to resonate freely for enhanced sustain and projection. The 9–ply birch shells with 7.2mm thickness and 45° bearing edges create exceptional acoustic properties, while the pre–muffled bass drum heads deliver powerful, dynamic kicks straight out of the box. Each shell features SONOR AQ single lugs with chrome hardware finish and the reliable TuneSafe system for consistent tuning stability.

The complete package includes a 20" x 16" bass drum, 14" x 6" snare drum, 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" rack toms, plus a 14" x 13" floor tom. The professional 2000–Series hardware set provides road–ready reliability with a hi–hat stand, two mini boom stands, and bass drum pedal – everything needed for stage or studio performance. This kit suits both ambitious beginners and seasoned players looking for an additional stage–ready setup that won’t compromise on the legendary SONOR sound quality.
