The software provides precise speaker measurements and calibration through a user-friendly measurement process, guided by an intuitive interface that works seamlessly with an individually calibrated measurement microphone. Compatible with most popular hardware setups and all major DAWs, it supports VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU plugin formats for maximum flexibility in professional audio environments.
The multichannel version includes advanced time alignment capabilities that calculate accurate adjustments for channel delays with sub-millisecond precision, ensuring perfect synchronisation at your listening position. These calculations are based on phase response measurements taken during the speaker measurement process, automatically applied when loading your speaker calibration profile in the DAW plugin. This phase alignment feature significantly improves soundstage sharpness and overall clarity by ensuring simultaneous arrival of sound signals from all speakers to your ears, while the Zero Latency DSP engine maintains optimal performance.
Target curve options cater to various production requirements, from the traditional SoundID SR (Studio Reference) flat response trusted by stereo engineers, to the specialised Dolby Atmos Music curve designed specifically for Atmos music production according to Dolby’s official guidelines. The software also reintroduces the popular Tilt target curve based on user community requests, currently accessible under “Translation Check > Other”. For ultimate flexibility, the Custom target curve function allows you to design your own calibration parameters, with options to limit calibration ranges for your entire setup or separate channel groups, ensuring your mixes translate accurately across different playback devices.
