The SSL SiX CH module brings the same SuperAnalogue™ mic preamp technology found in large-format SSL consoles to the 500 series format, providing exceptional wide gain range performance with ultra-low noise characteristics that remain clean, fast and punchy across any source material.

The channel strip features SSL's classic gentle, broad-stroke two-band EQ design with high and low shelving filters positioned at 3.5 kHz and 60 Hz, offering +/-15 dB gain range for precise tonal shaping. Each band can be independently switched between shelving and bell curves, with the bell curves shifting centre frequency to operate at 5 kHz and 200 Hz, providing enhanced versatility from the streamlined two-control layout.

Housing this premium module is the Radial Cube, a robust three-module desktop power rack constructed from 14 gauge steel with dual gold contact EDAC 15-pin connectors for optimal signal transfer. The external supply provides 500mA of current for power-hungry modules, plus a dedicated 48V phantom tap that supplies a full 10mA of current for microphone preamps. Following established Radial Workhorse criteria, the Cube maintains 100% backwards compatibility with older API modules while being optimised for Radial's expanding range of preamps, processors and routing devices.
