The BiG SiX represents SSL's most ambitious desktop console yet, building upon the success of the acclaimed SiX mixer with enhanced features specifically requested by working professionals. This studio-grade mixing console merges the legendary sound characteristics of SSL's large-format consoles with comprehensive USB integration and flexible routing capabilities that audio professionals depend on.
At its core, the BiG SiX utilises SSL's SuperAnalogue™ design to provide the punch, clarity, and ultra-low distortion that engineers have come to expect from the 9000 series consoles. The console features 16 channels of high-quality AD/DA conversion with USB interface, plus an essential version of the SSL G-Comp Bus Compressor now including the renowned 'Auto' release function. Channel processing includes dynamics and three-band EQ based on the iconic SSL 4000E, alongside a comprehensive monitoring section and up to 18 channels of analogue summing at mixdown.
