SKB's iSeries 4217-30 represents a genuine breakthrough in classical guitar protection—the first injection-moulded acoustic case to combine waterproof construction with genuine portability. Built from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, this design accommodates most classical instruments whilst delivering military-grade durability through a fully gasketed, submersible seal and corrosion-resistant architecture. The moulded-in hinges and Trigger Latch® system with TSA-approved locks eliminate common failure points found in traditional cases.

Dimensions span 45 inches long by 19.75 inches wide by 8.25 inches tall externally, with an interior body measuring 19.875 by 4.5 inches at its thinnest profile. The platinum plush interior provides wraparound neck support and contact protection across all surfaces. Built-in wheels enable airport transit without hand fatigue, whilst reinforced locking loops accommodate additional security locks. An automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve prevents seal damage during altitude changes, and the rubber over-moulded cushion grip handles suit both wheeled and carry-mode transport.
