The Shure UA845UWB Antenna Distribution System revolutionises large-scale wireless microphone setups by allowing multiple receivers to share a single pair of antennas whilst maintaining optimal signal strength. This amplified VHF and UHF distribution system splits antenna signals to accommodate up to four Shure receivers including Axient Digital, UHF-R, ULX-D™, QLX-D, SLX, and BLX4R models. The built-in amplification compensates for insertion loss that naturally occurs when splitting RF signals across multiple output connectors, ensuring consistent performance across all connected receivers.
Expandability remains a key strength of the UA845UWB, with CASCADE connectors providing the flexibility to connect a fifth receiver or daisy-chain a second UA845UWB unit. This design approach allows large wireless systems to operate efficiently from a single antenna pair, significantly reducing the complexity and cost of multi-receiver installations. The two 50Ω BNC-type CASCADE ports maintain signal integrity whilst providing seamless expansion options for growing systems.
The system offers additional power distribution capabilities for specific Shure wireless receivers, with Power OUTPUT and OUT connectors supporting up to five U4 or UR4 receivers in a daisy-chain configuration from a single power source. This active antenna and power distribution system operates across VHF, UHF, 1.2, 1.5, and 1.8 GHz frequency ranges with an internal power supply, making it compatible with all Shure wireless microphone receivers within the specified frequency ranges.
