The embossed, high-compliance diaphragm features an ultra-thin, gold-layered Mylar® construction that ensures excellent transient response alongside extended low-frequency performance. With very low self-noise and exceptional high SPL capability, this microphone handles demanding recording situations with ease.

Practical features include a 15 dB attenuation switch for extremely high sound pressure levels, plus switchable low-frequency filtering that provides flexibility to reduce background noise or counteract proximity effect. The integrated three-stage pop protection grille minimises breath noise, whilst the internal shock mount reduces handling noise transmission.
