Seymour Duncan STK-S4N Classic Stack Plus Strat Neck Pickup (Cream)

Achieve the authentic sparkle and chime of vintage Stratocaster pickups without the traditional single coil hum that has plagued guitarists for decades. The Classic Stack Plus series combines the classic Strat sound with Seymour Duncan’s patented noise-cancelling technology, giving you all the tonal qualities you love with none of the unwanted buzz.

The neck pickup captures that unmistakable vintage Strat character, whilst the middle pickup is built with RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity) to create perfect hum-cancelling operation in positions 2 and 4. The bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter to maintain balanced output across all selector positions, ensuring consistent performance throughout your playing.

Seymour Duncan’s innovative approach from the 1980s uses a special bottom coil that injects negative hum into the pickup circuit, with each unit fine-tuned during production for maximum noise cancellation. Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, these pickups feature hand-ground alnico 5 rod magnets and splittable 3-conductor wiring that allows access to true single coil operation when desired.

Each pickup is wax potted to prevent microphonic squealing, ensuring reliable performance whether you’re recording in the studio or performing live. The Classic Stack Plus series proves you don’t have to compromise between classic Stratocaster tone and modern noise-free operation.
