Slash is responsible for some of the most iconic riffs and solos in rock & roll history. To recreate the unmistakable power and expression of his tone from Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, and his solo work, Slash once again partnered with Seymour Duncan to develop his signature Slash 2.0 Humbucker Set ‐ a hotter, more driven evolution of his beloved APH‐2 pickups.

After more than a decade of using his original signature pickups on countless world tours, Slash sought a version that delivered the same clarity and tonal character, but with extra heat and output for live performance. The result is the Slash 2.0 Set ‐ built to offer the same tonal DNA as the APH‐2s, while adding the perfect blend of volume, drive, and compression to push any amp into sweet overdrive.

Each Slash 2.0 humbucker is hand‐crafted in Santa Barbara using the same traditional techniques Seymour Duncan employed in the 1980s. They feature nickel silver baseplates with long mounting legs, single conductor braided leads, maple spacers, paper tape, and wax potting ‐ ensuring durability and consistency worthy of a touring legend.

Modern enhancements include Short Ear (SE) mounting legs for broader compatibility and a 4‐conductor cable for coil‐splitting, series/parallel wiring, and phase switching. The combination of Alnico 2 Rough Cast magnets and a hotter wind provides the unmistakable Slash tone ‐ now with an extra edge for the stage.
