Capture the essence of classic rock with Seth Lover vintage output humbucker pickups, meticulously crafted to recreate the legendary PAF sound that defined an era. These pickups are the ideal solution for guitarists looking to give their solid body or semi-hollow instruments that authentic vintage character and singing sustain that made classic rock so memorable.
The bridge model strikes an exceptional balance between low-end warmth and smooth, articulate highs, producing that distinctive warm, airy, open tone. Chords ring out with full, open resonance while single notes maintain a soft yet defined character. This careful tonal balance makes the Seth Lover pickups perfect for achieving those classic rock tones that cut through a mix without harshness.
Hand-built in Santa Barbara to Seth Lover’s original specifications, these humbuckers feature authentic construction details including butyrate bobbins moulded by the same factory that created the original PAF moulds for Gibson. Key components include specially manufactured 42AWG plain enamel mag wire, nickel silver covers, 2.5-inch alnico 2 bar magnets, custom machined metal and maple spacers, and nickel silver bottom plates.
Each Seth Lover humbucker is wound on Seymour’s original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, ensuring that unmistakable vintage tone and feel that made these pickups legendary in the first place.
