This versatile pickup features a full, powerful low end paired with crisp, detailed highs, while its signature upper–midrange bump provides the crunch and chunk that makes heavy chords sound massive and single notes sing with vocal–like clarity.

The JB's hot output naturally drives your amplifier harder, creating enhanced sustain and rich harmonics that cut through any mix. For optimal performance, pair it with a 500k volume pot to maintain brilliant high–end clarity, or switch to a 250k pot for a sweeter, softer tone suited to smoother playing styles. Many guitarists find it pairs beautifully with Jazz or '59 neck pickups, though some prefer using the JB in the neck position for an exceptionally fat solo sound.
