Seymour Duncan SH-14 Custom 5 Pickup (Black)

Born from the Custom Shop as the "Custom Custom Custom," the Custom 5 high output humbucker emerged when players demanded a brighter, alnico 5 version of the beloved Custom Custom pickup. This versatile pickup features scooped mids with an even balance of bass and treble response, making it suitable for all musical styles and playing approaches. The full tone and high output design provides the power and clarity that modern players seek.

The Custom 5 offers exceptional versatility thanks to its balanced frequency response across the spectrum. For optimal results, pair it with either the 59 or Jazz neck model humbuckers to create a perfectly matched pickup set that covers all your tonal needs.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, each Custom 5 incorporates premium components including an alnico 5 bar magnet and nickel silver bottom plate. The pickup comes equipped with 4-conductor lead wire for flexible wiring configurations and undergoes vacuum wax potting to eliminate unwanted squealing during high-gain performance.
