Seymour Duncan Joe Bonamassa 64' Limited Edition Greenburst Set

Joe Bonamassa's legendary "Greenburst" Stratocaster® has captivated audiences worldwide, and now its distinctive sound can be yours through this exceptional pickup collaboration. This remarkable 1964 Stratocaster® began life with a traditional three-tone sunburst finish and original gray-bottom pickups, but its unique refinish in striking "Greenburst" immediately caught Joe's attention. The combination of powerful-sounding pickups, outstanding playability, and that unmistakable visual appeal made it what Joe calls "an instant star" in his collection.

Pre-CBS Fender Stratocasters® continue to hold legendary status among guitar enthusiasts, particularly those fitted with the coveted gray flatwork pickups that emerged in early 1964. These gray bottom pickups became renowned for their notably punchy sound and higher output compared to their predecessors, making authentic examples increasingly sought after by collectors and players alike.

The Joe Bonamassa "Greenburst" Stratocaster® Set represents a collaboration between the blues master and Seymour Duncan Custom Shop to recreate the magic of this favourite instrument. Crafted with period-correct wiring and staggered alnico 5 magnets, each pickup features gray bottom flatwork pad printed with Joe's signature. The first 500 sets come with limited edition packaging and a certificate of authenticity signed by both Joe Bonamassa and Seymour W. Duncan, allowing players to capture the powerful sound of what Joe describes as "the coolest, most hideous guitar" in his extensive collection.
