Seymour Duncan Green Magic Humbucker Neck, Black

A legendary guitarist's accidental discovery of a backwards magnet in his pickup became the foundation for one of blues rock's most iconic supernatural tones. The Green Magic pickup set recreates this serendipitous moment that defined the late 60's hollow blues rock sound that guitarists have been chasing ever since.

When you select each pickup individually, the Green Magics provide the classic neck and bridge characteristics you'd expect from vintage–voiced humbuckers. The real magic happens in the combined position, where the neck pickup's reversed magnet creates an out–of–phase relationship between the two pickups.

This out–of–phase configuration produces the clarity and expressiveness typically associated with single coils, dramatically expanding your guitar's tonal versatility. The Green Magic set captures those authentic blues rock golden era tones with that distinctive supernatural edge that made the original so sought after.
