Seymour Duncan Corey Beaulieu Blackout Neck Pickup

Forged in the fires of progressive metal, the Corey Beaulieu Damocles™ Signature Blackouts® represent the pinnacle of high-gain active pickup design. These pickups emerged from a collaboration with Trivium’s founding guitarist, who demanded a specific voicing that could slice through the band’s massive wall of sound both on stage and in the studio.

Corey Beaulieu has long relied on Seymour Duncan Blackouts® Active Humbuckers as his weapon of choice for Trivium’s crushing riffs and complex lead work. His signature Damocles™ variant builds upon this foundation with enhanced presence, superior balance, and crystal-clear definition that perfectly complements his detuned progressive metal approach.

The Damocles™ pickups offer the full-bodied sound and aggressive gain characteristics essential for modern metal, whilst maintaining the articulation needed for intricate passages. Available in both 6 and 7 string configurations as sets or individual pickups, they come with both active and passive mounting options to suit various guitar setups.
