Seymour Duncan Corey Beaulieu Blackout 7-String Neck Pickup Active Mount

Corey Beaulieu’s signature sound gets its crushing edge from a meticulously crafted pickup that was born from his specific demands for cutting through Trivium’s massive guitar arrangements. The Damocles™ Signature Blackouts® represent a modified voicing of Seymour Duncan’s renowned active humbuckers, developed specifically to meet Corey’s requirements for increased presence, balance and clarity in both live and studio settings.

As a founding member of metal titans Trivium, Corey Beaulieu drives the band’s epic guitar work with an onslaught of chugging riffs and intricate leads. His go–to pickups have always been Seymour Duncan Blackouts® Active Humbuckers, but he needed something more to cut through the band’s monumental wall of guitars.

This full sounding high–gain active pickup set proves perfect for Corey’s detuned progressive metal style, offering the power and definition required for modern metal’s most demanding applications. The Damocles™ lineup is available in 6 and 7 string sets and singles, with both active and passive mounting options to suit various guitar configurations.
