This signature collection pairs smooth alnico II rod magnets in the neck position with focused alnico IV rod magnets at the bridge, creating the perfect foundation for Brad’s distinctive bite, snap, and twang that has defined his sound for decades.

The neck pickup features alnico II rod magnets with a 7.55k output, utilising period-correct wire and flatwork to achieve a smooth, thick neck tone. Brad himself describes this as “the perfect neck pickup” for his beloved instrument, and it’s easy to understand why – the pickup produces the snap and twang he’s renowned for, whilst maintaining a round top end and full but tight low frequencies.
