Seymour Duncan Black Winter Trembucker for Bridge (Black)

Unleash the fury of extreme metal with the Black Winter pickup, a savagely high-output passive humbucker engineered to dominate the heaviest musical landscapes. Built with no fewer than three large ceramic magnets, this powerhouse ensures maximum output and sustain across all high-gain applications. The custom overwound coil design provides incredible clarity through the mids and highs whilst maintaining controlled and focused low-end response.

Designed to handle any tuning regardless of how low you venture, the Black Winter’s voicing facilitates aggressive palm mutes, fluid sweep picking, and punishing lead tones. You’ll achieve crushing distortion, vicious mids, and aggressive saturation without sacrificing string-to-string separation or sensitivity. The 7- and 8-string versions are specifically built to handle extended-range low notes with remarkable ease.

Hand crafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Black Winter is available for 6-string guitars in standard humbucker and Trembucker sizes, plus 7- and 8-string configurations in passive mount with naked coils or active soapbar mount featuring exposed pole pieces. Each pickup ships with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and comes vacuum wax potted for squeal-free operation. Pair the bridge Black Winter with the matching neck model for the ultimate metal onslaught.
