Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Surfer Strat Pickup Set (Cream)

Capture the essence of legendary surf, rock, country and blues tones with the Antiquity II Surfer vintage Stratocaster pickup set, meticulously crafted to recreate the magic of seminal genre-defining sounds. The neck pickup offers that distinctive smooth and chimey bounce that makes a Stratocaster unmistakable, featuring specially calibrated alnico 5 rod magnets and custom scatter wound coils that add subtle sweetness to the treble attack whilst preserving every bit of harmonic sparkle.

The middle pickup utilises RW/RP winding for perfect hum-free operation in positions 2 and 4, giving you that classic "cluck" without unwanted noise. Meanwhile, the Custom Bridge pickup is wound 50% hotter than traditional Strat bridge pickups, providing extra midrange and output for enhanced versatility. The alnico 5 rod magnets are slightly degaussed to soften the treble attack, allowing solos to cut through the mix more musically whilst chords ring with ideal midrange sparkle.

Hand-built in Seymour Duncan’s Custom Shop, each pickup is carefully aged to replicate the look and sound of genuine 1960s originals. Authentic vintage details include blue/yellow cloth pushback lead wire, light grey bottom flatwork, and custom aged covers that provide the perfect period-correct appearance. All pickups are lacquered and wax potted for optimal performance and durability.
