The bridge pickup maintains the energy and output you expect from Blackouts® but emphasises the percussive quality of palm–muted notes that are essential to alternative metal. Meanwhile, the neck pickup provides pristine clean tones that shift into aggressive mids with increased sustain when you crank up the gain, giving you versatility across your entire playing range.

Installation is straightforward with the complete hardware package included: pots, hardware, quick–connector cables, capacitor, output jack, battery clip and wire. If your guitar already has active pickups with quick–connector cables, simply unplug the old ones and connect your new alt.metal Blackouts®. Available in passive mount for 6–string guitars and both passive and active soapbar configurations for 7–string models, these pickups are exceptionally quiet and clean while maintaining more of your guitar's natural character than typical active pickups, providing richer harmonics across a broad frequency range.
