Sequential's Trigon-6 brings the legendary three-oscillator ladder filter sound into the modern era with stunning polyphonic capability. This powerhouse synthesiser features three newly designed voltage-controlled oscillators producing triangle, saw, and pulse waves, all filtered through an enhanced version of Sequential's acclaimed ladder filter from the Pro 3. The switchable 2/4 pole resonant design includes dedicated drive and feedback controls, allowing musicians to seamlessly shift from bold and crunchy tones to silky smooth textures with simple knob adjustments.
Building on the proven foundation of Sequential's Prophet-6 and OB-6, the Trigon-6 offers 6-voice polyphony housed in a four-octave semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and channel aftertouch. The knob-per-function front panel provides immediate access to all sound-sculpting features including super snappy envelopes, syncable LFO with multiple waveforms, polyphonic step sequencer, and arpeggiator. With 500 factory and 500 user presets covering classic basses, leads, and pads, musicians have an extensive palette ready for any musical project.
Advanced features include Sequential's enhanced Poly Mod system with filter envelope and oscillator 3 as modulation sources, plus configurable Unison mode supporting up to 18 simultaneous oscillators. The dual effects section provides studio-quality reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, phaser, and ring modulator, while the independent stereo distortion adds 100% analogue aggression. The innovative Vintage Knob introduces voice-to-voice variations in calibration and component behaviour, ranging from subtle modern precision to extreme vintage character that emulates classic time-worn instruments.
