Sequential Prophet 10 Legendary 10 Voice Analog Poly Synth

Dave Smith's legendary Prophet-5 returns in its most comprehensive form yet with the Prophet-10, a ten-voice analog polysynth that captures the essence of all three original revisions in one powerful instrument. This isn't just a reissue — it's “the best of all Prophets” according to Dave himself, featuring genuine Curtis analog VCOs and filters from the Rev3, alongside new 2140 low-pass filters designed by Dave Rossum that mirror his original 2040 filters from Rev1 and Rev2. A simple Rev switch lets you choose between the two distinct filter characters.

Sequential's meticulous research revealed that the original's warm, organic character came from subtle fluctuations and response differences between individual voice components. The innovative Vintage knob recreates this magic, allowing you to dial in everything from rock-solid stability (like a theoretical “Rev4”) to the beautifully unpredictable behaviour of the rare Rev1. Classic features like Poly Mod remain faithfully intact, with Filter Envelope and Oscillator B modulating Oscillator A frequency, pulse width, and the low-pass filter, whilst the enhanced Unison mode now offers configurable voice count (1-10 voices) with variable detuning and chord memory.

Modern enhancements include velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, putting filter sweeps, LFO modulation, and volume changes directly under your fingers without compromising the original's character. The knob-per-function panel provides instant access to all parameters, with live panel mode ensuring what you see matches exactly what you hear. With 200 factory programs, 200 user slots, and the original 40-program sound set from 1978, you'll have the complete Prophet legacy at your disposal.

All this analog power sits within a premium five-octave semi-weighted Fatar keyboard, complete with USB, MIDI, Gate and CV connections, housed in a stunning steel and hand-oiled sustainable black walnut body that's as beautiful as it sounds.
