Sennheiser EM-XSW 2-A Wireless Receiver (Frequency Band A)

The Sennheiser EM-XSW 2-A is a single-channel wireless receiver built for fixed installations where reliability and straightforward operation matter more than flexibility. Sennheiser's XSW platform targets live sound engineers, venue operators, and touring musicians who need rock-solid RF performance without the complexity of multi-channel racking systems. The unit operates across the 548–572 MHz band, a frequency range selected to avoid interference in most professional environments.

Construction centres on a compact 1u rackmount footprint measuring 255 mm long, 84 mm wide, and 275 mm tall, weighing 1244 g. Power arrives via the included NT 12-5CW supply, eliminating battery dependency during permanent installations. The receiver ships with four rubber isolation feet to minimise coupling vibration into rack frames. Documentation includes a comprehensive instruction manual and an EU Declaration of Conformity, with additional technical resources available through Sennheiser's online manual portal. This receiver integrates cleanly into both touring rigs and permanent theatre, broadcast, or corporate AV setups where a single wireless channel suffices.
