Schecter Omen Extreme-4 Electric Bass Guitar - Natural Gloss

Derringers Music are pleased to present the Schecter Omen Extreme-4 Electric Bass Guitar with Natural Gloss Finish.

Rock out in style with the Schecter Omen Extreme-4 electric bass guitar. The classy maple top and gold hardware adorn a mahogany body and maple neck that's topped with a ebony fretboard. You'll love the pair of Schecter Diamond Bass pickups and the 2-band active EQ; this setup lets you conjure practically any kind of bass tone you want — and plenty of it. Top-grade components keep this bass in stable tune, for worry-free performance. Keep the low end string with the Schecter Omen Extreme-4 electric bass guitar!

One of the great things in general about Schecter's more affordable basses is the hardware. Unable to source an affordable 4-string bridge that still delivers the performance and stability serious guitarists demand, Schecter simply decided to create one. This Schecter Diamond Bass bridge gives you the stability you need plus a massive range of intonation. Also a nice surprise, the sealed and permanently lubricated tuning machines on the Schecter Omen Extreme-4 let you stay in tune like a pro.

As with any bass guitar, the choice of tonewoods Schecter used has a huge impact on both the sound and feel of the Omen Extreme-4. To keep this not-insubstantial instrument light enough to play for hours yet resonant enough for metal, Schecter selected mahogany and maple for the body and maple for the neck. This combination gives the Omen Extreme-4 plenty of bite, without limiting the low-end impact you can expect from this bass. Add to that a naturally conditioned ebony fingerboard, and you've got killer sound and feel. Take it from the Derring Music bassists: the Omen Extreme-4 will give you years of great performance.

When you need a specific tone for a session, there's nothing like an active EQ. The Schecter Omen Extreme-4 bass sports a powerful 2-band EQ that gives you a fat low end and snappy highs. From funk to jazz to nu-metal, the Omen Extreme-4's EQ has the tone-sculpting power you need in a bass.
