Sabian XSR1205B 12inch Splash Cymbal

Crafted for drummers who demand cutting accents and lightning–fast splashy attacks, the Sabian XSR1205B 12" Splash brings vintage character to modern performances. This extra thin cymbal specialises in quick, punchy responses that slice through any mix with bright, articulate tone.

The challenging art of working with B20 bronze alloy sets this splash apart from ordinary cymbals. This time–tested fusion of 80% copper and 20% tin presents unique manufacturing challenges in its natural brittle state, requiring careful reworking and annealing processes to unlock its full potential. Despite these complexities, B20 bronze remains the preferred choice for cymbal makers seeking the broadest tonal spectrum.

With its vintage styling and bright sonic character, this splash offers the remarkable frequency range that only B20 alloy can provide. From bold, cutting highs to deeper undertones, the XSR series continues the long tradition of bronze cymbal craftsmanship that spans from brilliantly bright attacks to rich, moody sustain.
